Janakalyan Sahakari Bank Ltd has implemented banking solution in a distributed database (Microsoft-SQL) called OMNI Enterprise to provide various range of banking products through its data network across 26 locations. This software is implemented by the Bank’s in-house team. It has facilitated the customers to avail various products/services across all the branches.

Networking
All the 27 locations of the Bank branches & offices have been networked using lease lines with ISDN lines as redundancy. A Network Management System is implemented to monitor & control the network traffic.

Negotiated Dealing System (NDS)

JKSBL has implemented NDS with initiated by the Reserve Bank of India in the year 2002. This helps bank to handle the investment of surplus funds. The Bank does active trading in government securities & Call Money Market.

Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS)

JKSBL is the Fifth Bank in the country under Co-operative Bank category to offer RTGS services. JKSBL has implemented RTGS payment system initiated by the Reserve Bank of India in the year 2004.

National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT)

JKSBL is one of the very few Co-operative Banks who offer NEFT services. JKSBL has implemented NEFT payment system initiated by the Reserve Bank of India in the year 2007.


ReLeAS (Retail Lending Automation Software)

JKSBL has implemented ReLeAS a unique software product which has enabled Bank to disburse quality retail advances at a greater pace.

Mailing Solutions & Bulletin Board (Internal Website)
To reduce cost, improve communication within and outside the Bank, reform processes, the Bank has implemented Mail & Messaging solutions using m@ilserv application with Sify broadband connectivity. Intra-Website helps staff to get appropriate information on their fingertips.

Procurement Procedure

JKSBL has adopted pure technology based procurement procedure through Online Reverse Auction, which has helped Bank immensely saving on cost, time and bringing full transparency in the procurements.

Data Mining

JKSBL has developed various products for data mining from its data warehouse. It is being used by Bank for effective Deposit & Advances Monitoring, Loan Disbursement Schedules, Audit Trails, Online MIS etc.

Overnight System Processes

JKSBL has implemented a reporting tool that generates specific reports overnight by extracting data from 26 branch locations using data network.
